NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Nichols College women's volleyball team fell to The University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth 3-0 Tuesday night at the Francis Tripp Athletic Center. The Corsairs won game one 25-21, game two 25-18, and game three 28-26.
Sophomore
J'ena Baker (Rockledge, Fla.) led the Bison with nine kills to go along with 10 digs and three blocks. Classmate
Megan Gardner (South Deerfield, Mass.) chipped in with 10 digs and five kills, sophomore
Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) notched a team-high 14 digs, and both junior
Zoe Chevrette (Wilbraham, Mass.) and sophomore
Lexxus Andrews (Uxbridge, Mass.) posted four kills.
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the second between Nichols College and UMass Dartmouth. The Corsairs now lead the series, 2-0.
