BRISTOL, R.I. – The Nichols College women's volleyball team was defeated by Roger Williams University 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday night at the Roger Williams Field House.
Sophomore
Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) registered a team-high 13 digs for the Bison, who dropped game one 25-8, game two 25-11, and game three 25-18. Classmate
J'ena Baker (Rockledge, Fla.) filled the stat sheet with six digs and six kills while junior
Zoe Chevrette (Wilbraham, Mass.) dished out eight assists.
Nichols freshman
Toni Manzon (Millis, Mass.) notched six digs for NC.

Tonight's contest was the second all-time meeting between Roger Williams University and Nichols College. The Hawks lead the series, 2-0.
