NEWPORT, R.I. – The Nichols College women's volleyball team fell to Salve Regina 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at the Rogers Recreation Center.
Sophomore
J'ena Baker (Rockledge, Fla.) registered 14 digs, seven kills, and one service ace for the Bison. Classmate
Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) was credited with a match-high 22 digs while sophomore
Megan Gardner (South Deerfield, Mass.) had three kills.
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the second all-time meeting between Salve Regina and Nichols College. The Seahawks now lead the series, 2-0.
