Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Bison drop 5-1 decision at Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College men's soccer team suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Endicott College on Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Hempstead Stadium in Beverly, Mass.
 
The Gulls scored four times in the opening half to take a 4-0 lead into the break, and the two teams traded tallies in the final stanza to give the game its final score of 5-1.
 
Sophomore Chris Noga (Belchertown, Mass.) netted the lone goal of the game for the Bison off a feed from freshman Ali Ali (West Springfield, Mass.). Noga led the offense with five shot attempts in the game while four other Bison attempted at least one shot.
 
Junior Patrick Porpora (Westminster, Mass.) recorded eight saves and allowed four goals in 73:03 in between the pipes. Senior Zach Suhoza (Clearwater, Fla.) played the final 16:57 and made a pair of saves while giving up one tally.
 
Endicott received goals from senior Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain), sophomore Rieley Hoffman (Watertown, N.Y.), sophomore Joshua Sousa (Dartmouth, Mass.), freshman Max Robbins (Longmeadow, Mass.), and senior Thomas Martin (Derry, N.H.). Freshman Will Manuel (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) gave up one goal in 78:51 of action in the win, while freshman Jesse Haines (Villanova, Pa.) finished off the game for the Gulls.

Tonight marked the 22nd meeting between the two programs Endicott takes an 11-10-1 lead in the series with the win.
