Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) made 49 saves as the Nichols College women's ice hockey team fell 4-0 to Wesleyan (CT) in non-conference action Monday evening at the Spurrier-Snyder Rink.

The Cardinals scored a pair of goals in the first period and another pair of goals in the second stanza to earn their third win of the season. Senior Abby Rutt (Scarborough, Maine) assisted on the first goal and added a power play goal five minutes later in the first.

Sophomore
Kelly Ferreira (North Falmouth, Mass.) paced the Bison with four shots as Nichols was outshot 53-12 on the evening.

Freshman Allegra Grant (Winnetka, Ill.) earned her first-collegiate shutout for the Cardinals after stopping all 12 Bison shots.
