Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Bison hit Hawks hard early to win 4-0

LEICESTER, Mass. – Junior Paul Sickinger (Tyngsboro, Mass.) scored a goal and assisted on another as the Nichols College men's soccer team defeated Becker 4-0 Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field.

The Bison potted all four of their goals within the first 12 minutes of the game with Sickinger opening up the scoring at 5:16, followed by freshman Andrew Radomski (Kennebunk, Maine), senior captain David Melanson (Simsbury, Conn.), and then again with Radomski at 11:39.

The Hawks now fall to 0-5-0 and have failed to score a goal in all four contests so far this season.

Melanson joined Sickinger and Radomski as multi-point players in the game as Melanson assisted on Radomski's first goal. Freshman Chris Noga (Belchertown, Mass.) also appeared in the scorebook as he assisted on the goal by Sickinger.

Freshman Zach Suhoza (Clearwater, Fla.) took the win in his first career start, notching three saves over the first 61:27 before leaving way to classmate Gabriel Towles (Simsbury, Conn.) who stopped one shot through the last 28:33 of shutout action. Sophomore Devin Ramos (Warwick, R.I.) fell to 0-5-0 after recording 14 saves in the contest.

Sickinger paced the Bison with five shots while Noga, senior Mike Kelley (Braintree, Mass.), and freshman Brian Czuba (Franklin, Mass.) added four shots. Freshman Calvin Kamuhangi (Kampala, Uganda) led the Hawks with three shots.
