All-Time Series & StreaksThis afternoon's contest marked the seventh all-time meeting between Nichols College and Salem State. The Vikings improved to 4-0 all-time at home against the Bison and now lead the series, 5-2.

MacKenzie Martin (Merrimack, N.H.) scored five goals for the second consecutive game in Nichols College's 9-8 loss to Salem State University Tuesday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Alumni Field.
Senior
Anthony Verville (Portland, Maine) and junior
Tyler Sikich (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) each registered a goal and an assist for the Bison (1-2), who suffered their second one-goal loss of the season. Senior Ben Melaugh (Billerica, Mass.) potted four goals and dished out two assists to lead the Vikings (3-0) while classmate Bobby Bourgeois (Billerica, Mass.) and freshman David Dempsey (Tewksbury, Mass.) each scored twice.
Nichols held an 8-5 lead heading to the fourth before the Vikings outscored the Bison 4-0 over the final 15 minutes to secure the win. Bourgeois's second of the game with 1:34 remaining proved to be the game-winner.
Inside the Game-The Vikings held a 38-28 edge in shots. Nichols outshot Salem State 13-1 in the second quarter and the Vikings outshot the visitors 16-4 in the fourth.
-The Bison won 17 of the game's 20 face-offs, led by junior
Kevin D'Angelo (Pelham, N.H.), who was 17-of-19 (.90 percent).
On the Bison-Junior
Phil Tessier (Mirror Lake, N.H.) scored his second of the year.

Steven Oldakowski (Bethlehem, Conn.) caused a pair of turnovers.
-Sophomore
James Keane (Franklin, Mass.) made 12 saves and fell to 1-1 on the season.
About the Opponent-Senior William Angell (Littleton, Mass.) led the Vikings with seven caused turnovers and five ground balls.
-Sophomore Kevin Lally (Beverly, Mass.) made 13 saves and is now 2-0.
