Tyler Sikich (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) scored three goals and added an assist in Nichols College's 9-8 overtime loss to UMass Boston Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at Boston College H.S.
Junior Phil Tessier (Mirror Lake, N.H.) collected three points (1-2-3) for the Bison (1-3), who dropped their third one-goal game of the season. Just as they did on Tuesday, the Bison held an 8-5 lead heading into the fourth quarter before failing to score in the final stanza.
Senior Calvin Lee (Hopkinton, Mass.) scored the final three goals of the contest and finished with five on the afternoon. He scored at 6:07 and 3:53 of the fourth, respectively, to force overtime before winning the game with 50 seconds remaining in the first extra session.
Inside the Game-The Beacons held a 4-0 edge in shots in overtime and finished the contest outshooting the Bison 48-38.

Kevin D'Angelo (Pelham, N.H.) won 14 of the game's 21 face-offs (67 percent) and is 55-of-73 on the season (75 percent).

About the Opponent-Freshman Michael Lund (Cohasset, Mass.) potted two goals for the Beacons.

-Senior goalie Craig Frehill (Norwell, Mass.) made 17 saves to pick up the win for UMB.
