This afternoon's contest marked the ninth all-time meeting between Daniel Webster College and Nichols College. The Bison have won four-straight and lead the series, 8-1.

Senior
Reece O'Connor (North Grafton, Mass.) scored a career-high three goals to help the Nichols College men's lacrosse team to a 14-7 win at Daniel Webster College in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Eagle Field.
Classmates
Brian Hancock (Groton, Mass.) and
Anthony Verville (Portland, Maine) also chipped in with three goals apiece as the Bison (3-5) won for the second time in three games. O'Connor also added three assists while Verville had two helpers. Senior Anthony Cotoni (Groton, Mass.) and junior David Downie (Merrimack, N.H.) each had three points for the Eagles on two goals and an assist.
The game was tied at seven entering the fourth before Nichols ripped off seven unanswered goals and cruised to victory. O'Connor scored the go-ahead goal 52 seconds into the stanza while Hancock and sophomore
MacKenzie Martin (Merrimack, N.H.) each potted two goals.
Inside the Game
-Nichols outshot the Eagles, 40-32 – including 10-5 in the decisive fourth quarter.
-Daniel Webster was 4-of-11 with the man advantage. The Bison failed to score on four extra man opportunities, but did score a man down goal in the fourth.

-Verville collected a team-high seven ground balls while Martin notched five.

Matt O'Connell (Woburn, Mass.) caused a team-high three turnovers.

Brian McKinley (Nashua, N.H.) played the second half and made five saves to earn his third win of the season.

-Freshman Russell Applegate (Nashua, N.H.) tallied three points (1-2-3).
-Freshman Adam Letarte (Milford, N.H.) scooped up a game-high nine ground balls. He also had a team-high two caused turnovers.
