HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team defeated Framingham State 11-7 in non-conference action Thursday afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Bison (2-2) scored eight goals in the first half – including the first four goals of the game – on their way to fourth win against the Rams in four all-time meetings.
Sophomore
Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) and junior
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) each potted three goals to lead the way for the Bison while junior
Olivia Morawski (Fairfield, Conn.) had two.
Sophomore Kimmy Foley (Mansfield, Mass.) paced the Rams with a game-high five goals to go along with 11 shots.
Junior
Katherine Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine) picked up the win after stopping 12 shots to move to 2-2 on the year.
The Bison are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to take on Smith at 7:00 p.m.
