Tonight's contest marked the 42nd all-time meeting between Nichols and Gordon. The Bison saw their 15-game win streak against the Fighting Scots snapped with tonight's loss. Gordon leads the all-time series, 22-20.

1) Gordon freshman Jamie Tafoya (Fort Collins, Colo.) – came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points and grab nine rebounds in 26 minutes
2) Gordon sophomore Sophia Linnell (Richmond, Va.) – recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in 25 minutes
3) Nichols junior Taylor Daniels (Dudley, Mass.) – tallied 11 points, four steals, and three rebounds in 36 minutes
 
Quick Synopsis
The Fighting Scots made 43 percent of their shots in the fourth quarter and 9-of-12 from the line to defeat the Bison 60-55 in Commonwealth Coast Conference action. Tafoya scored seven points in the fourth quarter to spark Gordon. Senior Jessica Kelliher (Marshfield, Mass.) led the Bison with 13 points.

Turning Point
The Bison rallied from a 48-41 fourth-quarter deficit to tie the game at 53 when Daniels made one of two from the line with 52 seconds to go. Freshman Megan Jenkerson (McDonough, Ga.) made a jumper at the other end on the ensuing possession to put the Fighting Scots up 55-53. Following a turnover and foul by Kelliher, Tafoya made two free throws to give her team a two possession lead (57-53) with 22 seconds remaining.
