- Freshman Kelly Ferreira (North Falmouth, Mass.) potted her first-collegiate goal to put the Bison up 1-0 at 5:28 of the first period. Senior captain Alexa Smith (Salem, N.H.) was credited with the assist on the goal.
- The Purple Knights answered back with a PP goal by Dineen at 14:06 – the first of three power play goals for Saint Michael's. Sullivan and junior Kayla Kee (Newton, Mass.) had the helpers on the goal.
- The Bison scored just 1:09 into the second period to take a 2-1 lead. Senior captain Julia Mastrototaro (Holden, Mass.) scored her second goal of the season on freshman Callie Jackson (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) first-collegiate assist.
- Sullivan scored at 5:18 of the second stanza to tie things up at two. Junior Carolyn Avery (Lexington, Mass.) assisted on the goal.
- Junior Sarah Bagley (Concord, Mass.) gave the Purple Knights their first lead of the game at 10:06 of the second period when she potted the third PP goal of the game and eventual game-winner.
- O'Connell falls to 2-15-0 on the year after registering 55 saves while junior Abby Burke (Bedford, Mass.) earned the win while stopping 13 shots.
