Key Stat of the Game
The Bison were outshot 71-9 for the game including 26-0 in the second period. This marks the second time this season that Nichols has allowed over 70 shots – the last time being on November 7th against Salve Regina when freshman Cassandra Goyette (Norton, Mass.) set the program-record with 72 saves.

Quick Hits
- The Crusaders kicked off the scoring in the first period by scoring two goals within 17 seconds of each other. McGee struck first at 13:30 with her fifth goal of the season – sophomore Kara Violette (Biddeford, Maine) and Bagi were credited with the assist. Senior Megan Meskill (Minneapolis, Minn.) found junior defensive partner Erin Hall (Pembroke, Mass.) just 17 seconds later to push the lead to 2-0.
- Holy Cross exploded for three goals in the second stanza on 26 shots on goal. The Crusaders saw goals from Bagi, Reilly, and freshman Sam Girard (Dedham, Mass.).
- Sophomore Kelsey Goostrey (Jackson, Mich.) added a goal at 6:36 of the third period before Reilly scored her second goal of the game at 15:30 to close out the scoring for the game.
- The Crusaders had 12 different student-athletes register a point in the game and four with multiple points.
- Junior Samantha DiReda (Shrewsbury, Mass.), senior Erin Dice (Ashburn, Va.), and freshman Mikayla Castro (Killingworth, Conn.) paced the Bison with two shots apiece.
- Girard and freshman Tori Messina (Hingham, Mass.) had a game-high eight shots to lead the way for the Crusaders.
- Goyette stopped 64 shots while falling to 1-6-0 in her first season. Sophomore Siobhan Burke (Westwood, Mass.) made nine saves in the shutout and improves to 5-1-0 on the year.
