Quotes"The kids set a goal early in the season to be regular season champions and to have the opportunity to host throughout the playoffs. It's great to check off that goal and also have a number of different players play very well –
Devin Stallings,
Irving Eggleston,
Marcos Echevarria,
Gustave Koumare, and
Nate Tardy among them." – Nichols head coach
Tom GlynnÂ
"This is a goal that we set at the start of the season and have worked towards all season. It's pretty exciting to reach it for the third year in a row. The level of focus has been at another level for the upperclassmen all season. We only have one more chance before we graduate. The biggest goal for us is to win a conference championship. This is the first step in achieving that goal." – Nichols senior
Gustave KoumareÂ
"I just wanted to go out and be aggressive to start the game. I wanted to play hard, help us get a win, and help us solidify one of the goals that this team has worked towards." – Koumare, on his performance against the Colonels
