- The Seahawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period including two goals by Phalon. Sophomore Briana D'Avolio (Reading, Mass.) potted the third goal of the period – which turned out to be the eventual game-winner.
- The Bison stormed back in the second period, potting a pair of goals within 2:08 of each other. Nichols got on the board with a goal by sophomore Laura Christie (Hudson, Mass.) – tying her for the team-lead with four – which was assisted by freshman Kelly Ferreira (North Falmouth, Mass.) at 7:48. Sullivan scored her first career goal at 9:56 on an assist from senior captain Erin Dice (Ashburn, Va.) to cut the deficit to one.
- Phalon collected the hat trick at 18:07 of the third period while the Seahawks were on the power play to secure the win for Salve Regina.
- Sophomore Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) stopped 26 shots in the loss for the Bison while freshman Jennifer O'Connell (Marstons Mills, Mass.) made 19 saves in the win.
