WINCHENDON, Mass. – The Nichols College women's ice hockey team fell to Franklin Pierce 6-0 in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action Saturday afternoon at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

Senior Michelle Holmes (Goffstown, N.H.) and junior Alex Brolsma (Bloomington, Minn.) paced the Ravens with three point performances (2-1-3) while they also saw goals from junior Hailee Craig (Canton, Mich.) and freshman Alli Sugar (Canton, Conn.).

The Bison were outshot on the afternoon 42-14 – including 14-2 in the second period in which the Ravens scored their first four goals of the contest.

Emily Wood (Wakefield, Mass.) and sophomore
Kelly Ferreira (North Falmouth, Mass.) each had a pair of shots to lead the Bison.

Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) stopped 36 shots in the loss while senior Shannon O'Neil (Tewksbury, Mass.) made 14 saves in the win.

This marks the fourth time in five games this season that the Bison have been held scoreless.
