Nor'easters score 7-0 win over Bison

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Freshman Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) made 19 saves in Nichols College's 7-0 loss at the University of New England Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Big Blue Turf.

Four 1st-half goals came from Hannah Buckley (Leominster, Mass.), Kendra MacDonald (Lebanon, N.H.), Vonde Saunders (Center Conway, N.H.), and Marge Gardiner (East Northport, N.Y.), spread out in the fifth, 15th, 27th, and 33rd minutes. Saunders and Buckley both tallied assists in the period, as did Nicole Matarozzo (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Abbey Rouillard (Claremont, N.H.).

The hosts added three unassisted markers following halftime, as Kersey Boulay (Liberty, Maine), Morgan Kelley (Woonsocket, R.I.), and Liz Clark (Barre, Vt.) found their way into the scoring column in the 39th, 57th, and 63rd minutes, respectively.
