BRISTOL, R.I. – Freshman
MacKenzie McDonald (Pembroke, Mass.) scored her first collegiate goal in Nichols College's 4-1 loss at Roger Williams University Wednesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey action Wednesday night at Bayside Field.

Courtney White (Orange, Mass.) picked up her second assist in three games for the Bison. Senior
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) was credited with a defensive save while freshman
Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) made 12 saves.
Seniors Meghan Curran (West Milford, N.J.) and Katherine Mahoney (West Suffield, Mass.), junior Juliana Miccile (Upton, Mass.), and sophomore Lillian McNeil (Marshfield, Mass.) each scored for the Hawks, who outshot the Bison 27-1 and held a 10-1 edge in penalty corners.
The Hawks struck for two goals in the opening 7:45 and carried a 2-0 lead into halftime. Miccile scored 59 seconds into the second half to push the lead to 3-0 before Mahoney's first of the season at 52:10 made it 4-0. MacDonald's goal off a penalty corner came at 64:06 and was Nichols first shot of the game.

Tonight's contest marks the eighth all-time meeting between Roger Williams University and Nichols College. The win extends the Hawks win streak to four and they now lead the series, 5-3.
