DUDLEY, Mass. – Seniors
Corey Davis (Wakefield, Mass.) and
Michael Bane (North Grafton, Mass.) scored three goals apiece as the Nichols College men's lacrosse team fell 10-9 to UMass Dartmouth in non-conference action at Vendetti Field.
A day after scoring the last six goals to defeat UMass Boston, the Bison allowed the final three goals in the fourth quarter after leading 9-7.
Junior Zach Drolette (Burlington, Vt.) scored the game-winner with around four minutes to go in the game as he was able to best freshman goaltender

Anthony Verville (Portland, Maine) and
Brian Hancock (Groton,
Mass.) and sophomore
Dylan Baer (Webster, N.H.) to go along with Davis and Bane's goals.
The Corsairs (3-2) were led by sophomore Sean Peters (Medway, Mass.) and senior Riley Baxter (Groton, Mass.) who each had three points (2-1-3).
After going into the half tied at five, Nichols found themselves trailing early in the third quarter 7-5 before rattling off the next four goals to take a 9-7 lead. However, the Corsairs late-game rally sealed the deal.
Keane stopped 15 shots while falling to 3-2 on the year. Sophomore Matt Lafond (Bridgewater, Mass.) made 10 saves and improves to 3-1 on the season.
The Bison host Daniel Webster on Tuesday the 24th at 4:00 p.m. The Corsairs host Roger Williams on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
