PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Sophomores
Benjamin Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) and
Joseph Nicolace (Cranston, R.I.) each drove in two runs in Nichols College's 7-6 loss to Farmingdale State Monday afternoon at the Snowbird Classic at North Charlotte County Regional Park.

Matt Hardy (North Attleboro, Mass.), and junior
Collin Geagan (Watertown, Mass.) also scored.
Nichols jumped out a 1-0 lead at the end of one with a sac fly by Nicolace that plated Boisvert. Farmingdale State (8-3) answered back with three runs in the second inning and one in the top of the third to take a 4-1 lead. Bison answered right back in the third. Nicolace doubled to right-center field, plating Boisvert and Geagan, and then freshman
Jeff Sylvester (Berlin, Conn.) singled home McNally to tie things up.
Both teams exchanged two-run fourth innings and remained tied until Farmingdale scored one in the top of the sixth inning.
Nichols will take on Wooster tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. Farmingdale finished its play at the Snowbird Classic and will host Maritime Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
