Felipe Schiller de Rezende (Sao Paulo, Brazil) netted his second goal of the season as the Nichols College men's soccer team defeated Eastern Nazarene 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Bison have now won eight-straight decisions against the Lions with the last loss coming in 2006.
After a scoreless first half, Nichols (10-2-4, 5-1-0 CCC) got on the board early in the second half when, in the 51st minute, Schiller de Rezende was able to beat sophomore Jameson MacFarland (Jacksonville, Fla.). Sophomore
David Melanson (Simsbury, Conn.) was credited with the assist on the play.

Tiago Prazeres (West Hartford, Conn.) put the game out of reach in the 81st minute when he blasted a free kick attempt into the back of the net to give the Bison a 2-0 lead.
Nichols outshot Eastern Nazarene (5-11-1, 1-6-0 CCC) 25-5 for the game. Freshman
Rielee Mohsin (Stuart, Fla.) led the Bison with five shots while Melanson added four. Sophomore Jacob Mason (Southport, England) and freshman Chris Garcia (Gaithersburg, Md.) led the Lions with two shots.
Junior
Alex Geas (Somers, Conn.) earned the win after not registering a save and improving to 5-1-1 on the year. Senior
Jeremy Nash (West Springfield, Mass.) started the game and made two saves before being subbed out at halftime. MacFarland stopped eight shots and falls to 1-1-0 on the season.
The Bison close out the regular season on Tuesday with a conference showdown at Wentworth at 7:00 p.m. The Lions host Endicott on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
