Rielee Mohsin (Stuart, Fla.) scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute to lift the Nichols College men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over first-place Gordon College Saturday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

Michael Perry (Plainville, Mass.) picked up the assist on the goal while classmate
Jeremy Nash (Springfield, Mass.) earned his fifth shutout of the season, putting him in a four-way tie atop the conference in that category. The win moves the Bison to 9-1-3 (4-0-1 CCC).
The win is just the 11th in 40 all-time meetings with the Fighting Scots, however the Bison have won three of the last four meetings.
The loss marks the third of the season for Gordon (10-3-0, 4-1 CCC), all of which have been 1-0 scores. The Fighting Scots have only lost two conference games in the last two years and both have been to Nichols.
The Bison were only able to get off five shots for the game compared to the 16 by the Fighting Scots. Mohsin led Nichols with three shots while sophomore
Ian Miller (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and freshman
Cooper Milano (Caldwell, N.J.) added one.
The Fighting Scots were led by sophomore Caleb Cole (Coatesville, Pa.) with five shots while freshman Nathan Bilbie (Shrewsbury, Pa.) and sophomore Aaron Terjanian (West Chester, Pa.) each had three.
Nash improves to 5-0-2 after making five saves in the win. He also improves his CCC-leading goals against average (GAA) to a meager 0.27. Sophomore Josh Spoonhour (Greencastle, Pa.) falls to 8-2-0 with his two save effort.
The first place Bison travel Saturday to take on conference foe the University of New England at 3:30 p.m. The Fighting Scots host Mitchell on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
