Tiago Prazeres (West Hartford, Conn.) scored the lone Nichols goal in a 3-1 setback to Ithaca in a men's soccer non-conference contest that took place at the Xara Soccer Classic on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Bombers even out their record at 1-1 while the Bison slip to 0-2.

Alex Geas (Somers, Conn.) was tagged with the loss as he manned the net for the first 45 minutes. Classmate
Francesco Chiaravalloti (Torrington, Conn.) took over duties in the second half as both Nichols backstops were credited with a save on the day.
Junior goalkeeper
David Kaminsky (Ithaca, N.Y.) made six saves to earn his first victory of the season for the Bombers.
Rookie
Donny Whittle (Ellington, Conn.) represented Nichols on the Xara Classic All-Tournament Team as he gave the Bison an early lead in Saturday's match vs. Keene State.
Nichols welcomes Clark on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. for the squad's 2012 home opener.
