Box Score DUDLEY, Mass. (Mar. 28) – First-year Kristen Pingree paced the Hawks with six goals to help Roger Williams defeat Nichols 20-11 in a Wednesday afternoon Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse contest.
Sophomore Jessica Searl aided the Hawk effort with four goals to go along with six draw controls as senior Danica Delia scored three times and added four assists. Sophomore Danielle Neagle and rookie Samantha Davenport chipped in with a pair of goals each. Junior Justine Sullivan and first-year Mackenzie Logan scooped up six ground balls apiece while rookie Deven Machette picked up six draw controls.

Roger Willams lit up the scoreboard first as junior Dana Wilfahrt found the back of the net with 21 seconds off the clock. The Hawks then scored the next four points for an early 5-0 lead. The visitors went on a 4-1 run capped off by a goal by Searl with 15:46 remaining in the opening half. Nichols scored the next two goals before Roger Willams went on a 5-2 run to end the half with a 13-6 advantage.
Following the break Pingree began the scoring with a goal at 1:39 as the squads traded markers over the next 10:51. Roger Willams pulled further away with a four-goal spurt. Nichols inched closer with a pair of goals beginning with 6:15 remaining. Delia converted a free position shot for the Hawks' 20th goal of the afternoon. Antonison scored her 11th goal of the year to cap the offense.
Sullivan improved to 3-7 as she collected five saves for the Hawks. Sophomore Meagan Connelly was not called upon to make a save in the final 5:03. First-year goalkeeper

Nichols (1-3, 0-2 CCC) continues a three-game homestand tomorrow night with a non-conference matchup against Emmanuel at 7:00 p.m. Roger Williams (3-7, 1-0 CCC) hosts University of New England on Saturday in a CCC tilt at 1:00 p.m.
