Box Score FORT MYERS, Fla. (Mar. 13) – The Nichols College baseball team turned three double plays in a single game on Tuesday at the Gene Cusic Classic as the Bison fell 10-0 to Salem State.
The Vikings scored all 10 runs in the first four innings as both squads did not get a runner home down the stretch.
Salem State hurler Ryan Beliveau tossed six innings as he scattered three hits and set down seven batters. As a staff, the Vikings combined to strike out 10.

Brett Franciosi pitched in with one. Nichols turned three inning-ending double plays to get out of the first, third and fifth.

Nichols has canceled its remaining five games in Florida due to a flight rescheduling issue resulting from Direct Air canceling flights. The Bison resume play at home on Saturday, March 24 against Endicott in its Commonwealth Coast Conference opening doubleheader.
