DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team capped a perfect regular season in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action with a 9-0 win over Eastern Nazarene College Saturday morning on Senior Day at the Francis W. Robinson Tennis Courts.
The win leaves the Bison at 11-4 (8-0 CCC) heading into the conference tournament, which begins Tuesday. Nichols earned a bye in the quarterfinals and will host either Curry or Western New England on Wednesday, October 17th at 2:00 p.m. Last season, Nichols suffered a 5-3 loss to Endicott in the championship match.
“This was another solid win for our team,” said Bison head coach
Paul Brower. “We've been on a great run the last few weeks and picked up some big wins. It's nice to be able to play all of our conference tournament matches here. Hopefully, we'll get healthy quickly and be able to complete what we were unable to finish last season. The girls are playing well, their attitudes are up, and if we train hard, we should be able to take care of business.”
