WENHAM, Mass. (Sept. 18) – The Nichols College women's tennis team won its sixth consecutive match Saturday afternoon, defeating The Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Gordon, 8-1. Nichols improves to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the TCCC.

The Bison won all of their points in straight sets, and led, 3-0, after doubles. Four Nichols players remained undefeated on the season in singles play, including first year Anna Dyakiv (Amsterdam, N.Y.) and senior Maria Balabanova (Moscow, Russia), who also ran their season-long doubles win streak to six.

Nichols is back in action Tuesday in a 3:30 p.m. TCCC match at Wentworth.
