WENHAM, Mass. – The Nichols College men's lacrosse team fell at Gordon, 21-12, in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference game Wednesday evening. Leading the charge for the Bison with five goals was sophomore Brian Donnelly (Weymouth, Mass.). Nichols is now 3-7 overall and 1-5 in TCCC games.

Brian Gattie (Plainfield, N.H.) added a pair of goals and two assists, while Ryan Pacific (Danbury, Conn.) also picked up two goals. Garrett Hill (Braintree, Mass.) scored a goal and added two assists.

Gordon held a 4-2 lead after the first quarter and increased its margin to 11-2 by halftime. The Bison outscored their hosts, 7-6 in the third quarter, including a man-up tally from Hill, but a 4-3 Gordon fourth kept the game out of reach.

Nichols goaltender Austin Healy (Westford, Mass.) made 16 saves and allowed 11 goals in the first half before giving way to Scott Gray (Annapolis, Md.), who stopped seven shots while allowing 10 goals in the final 30 minutes.

Gordon netminder Mark Merullo made seven saves in the start before bowing to Wayne Terry who made one save in the final 11:30.

Nichols is idle until a 7 p.m. home game Monday against Mitchell.
