FOOTBALL - Junior running back Zahir Booker contributed in a big way on the ground for the Bison during their week 1 victory over Westfield State. Booker ran for 129 yards on 23 carries, for an average of 5.9 yards a carry, while also recording two receptions for 8 yards. Booker's two touchdowns contributed heavily to Nichols win, with the first coming at the end of the third to bring the Bison back within a score, and the second being the game-winning score with 3:38 left in the fourth.
