Desante claimed medalist honors, the first of his collegiate career, after shooting a 137 (-3) through both rounds of the 6th Annual Warrior Invitational at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club. His performance featured an opening round of three-under par 67, which was the lowest single-round score by a Bison player since the 2006-07 season. Additionally, Desante's two-day total ranked as the lowest combined performance by a Bison player in the same timeframe (2006-07).
