Senior pitcher Lauren Person (Vernon, Conn.) was named to the Pitcher of the Week honor roll as she went 2-0 on the week in two starts. She allowed just one run in 13 innings of work. She struck-out seven in a 2-1 in at Gordon. In seven complete innings she allowed just one run off six hits. Person went on break the all-time record for strikeouts at Nichols as she fanned four in a 10-0 shutout over Eastern Nazarene. She now has 221 career strikeouts. Person also became the school’s all-time leader in appearances as Saturday’s game was her 82^nd.
