Nelson was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week after helping lead the Bison into the ECAC Semifinals over the weekend. The rookie collected 14 points and 11 rebounds in the team’s upset victory over second-seeded Western Connecticut in the ECAC Quarterfinals last Wednesday. She added 11 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Fitchburg State in the ECAC Semifinals on Saturday.
