Junior pitcher Lindsay Hassett improved to a record of 2-2 this week with a complete-game win in the second game of a double header against Gordon and the first game against Eastern Nazarene. Hassett struck out seven batters and allowed only one run out on six hits for Gordon. Also in game two, Hassett brought in a run on her second single of the game. In the first game against Eastern Nazarene, Hassett struck out eight and allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits. She also showed her power at the plate by leading off the fourth with a double. Hassett currently leads the team with 31 strike outs in 6 games started.
