Smith led the Bison with 10 tackles, including three for losses of ten yards, in their 14-0 win at Framingham State. He also made one interception and had one pass break-up in the shutout victory, Nichols first since the 2001 season. The Bison defense held Framingham State to just 56 net yards rushing.
