Junior Lindsay Hassett (Oxford, Mass.) broke the Bison’s career strikeout record with her nine strikeouts against Salve Regina. Hassett entered the game needing only two to break the mark of 276 set by Lauren Person (2005-08) and registered the feat in the second inning. Hassett needed only 276 career innings to break the record, averaging 1.03 strikeouts per inning thus far in her career.
