Nichols College Athletics

Sydney Goyette begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Nichols College women's lacrosse program in 2026-27.

Goyette joins the Bison after a four-year playing career at Eastern Connecticut State University, where she appeared in 52 games and totaled 80 goals, 18 assists, and 98 points. As a senior in 2026, she earned Little East Conference All-Academic Team honors. She also received the ECSU Departmental Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award following her junior season in 2025.

A native of Westfield, Massachusetts, Goyette was a four-year starter in lacrosse at Westfield High School and served as a team captain as a senior. She finished her high school career with 58 goals and 46 assists while also competing in soccer, where she helped lead Westfield to a Western Massachusetts Championship.

Goyette earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern Connecticut State University and will pursue her graduate studies at Nichols. In her role with the Bison, she will assist head coach William Mraz and the women's lacrosse program with recruiting, practices, game preparation, and the overall development of student-athletes.
