Liam Barnicle is entering year one with the Bison Hockey Team as the team's Graduate Assistant.
Liam grew up in Bridgewater, MA playing hockey throughout the New England Area throughout High School. He attended St. Anselm College where he graduated in 2022 with degrees in business and finance. He had worked with Coach Gacek at St. Anselm when he was an assistant coach there. During his tenure at St. Anselm, he began as an equipment manager for the hockey team his freshman year. He was an equipment manager for the first two years. During his junior year he was promoted to a Student Assistant Coach which he would continue throughout his senior year. He assisted with all coaching duties and recruiting.
During his time in college, he also became an intern for Neutral Zone. He was taught the scouting business and behind the scenes of the website. After the internship was over, he stayed on board as a regional scout in the New England area. He assisted with writing scouting reports and helped kids to gain exposure.
Upon graduating from St. Anselm, he moved down to Florida to continue coaching at the junior level with the Palm Beach Typhoon. He served as an assistant coach for the USPHL Premier and Elite team. He also assisted with recruiting for both teams from the United States and Canada.
