Nichols College Athletics

Kevin Johnson enters his 4th year in the college coaching landscape and his first with the Bison. Johnson will oversee the infielders and be the hitting coach. 

Johnson spent the last 3 years at Western New England University where he worked primarily with hitters and infielders. He helped the Golden Bears reach the conference championship in 2022/2024. During his time at Western New England he guided players to regional gold glove award, multiple all conference players and a handful of all region players. 

Johnson competed in 105 games from 2017-2020 for Western New England. Johnson hit .245 at the plate, while picking up 11 extra base hits and 40 RBIs. Johnson collected 23 stolen bases over his career. Johnson also won a conference championship in 2018.
