Hadley Houghton '25 begins her first season as the women's lacrosse graduate assistant coach in 2025-26.
Houghton, a native of Madison, Connecticut, had a stellar lacrosse career as a four-year member of the Bison program (2022-2025), demonstrating leadership, consistency, and overall excellence. Across her four seasons on The Hill, she was a starter in all 68 games played, accumulated 336 career points on 260 goals and 76 assists, and controlled 391 draws. Each mark also ranks first all-time in program history for Houghton, highlighting a list of over a dozen program records set throughout her career. Houghton was also an impact player on the defensive side of the field, causing 109 turnovers in her career, which ranks second all-time in program history.
As a leader in all facets of the game, Houghton’s success helped her garner two rounds of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) / Conference of New England (CNE) First Team honors (2024, 2025), along with being named a two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference Second Team selection (2022, 2023, a four-time Commonwealth Coast Conference/Conference of New England Player of the Week, and a solo Conference of New England Defensive Player of the Week (2025). Houghton has also been a recipient of major honors at Nichols, receiving the Hallie Linacre Memorial Award for Outstanding Female Junior Athlete in 2024, and the Nichols Outstanding Female Senior Athlete Award in 2025.
Prior to her playing career at Nichols, Houghton lettered in lacrosse at Daniel Hand High School, where she was named a team captain. Houghton graduated spring of 2025 with her BSBA in Marketing, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
