Nichols College Athletics

Dylan Knox is entering his first year with the Bison, where he will serve as the assistant and goalie coach for the Men’s Ice Hockey team, as well as the goalie coach for the Women’s Ice Hockey team.
 
Prior to this season, Knox was the head coach and co-president of hockey operations at Grand Valley State University in the ACHA. During his four years at Grand Valley State, he helped the Lakers secure four consecutive ACHA National Tournament appearances, two conference championships, and a national runner-up title during the 2023-24 season. That same year, he was also named ACHA Coach of the Year.
 
Knox also comes to Nichols as an accomplished goalie coach with more than 15 years of experience working with goaltenders at all levels of junior and college hockey, including the USHL, NAHL, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division III, and USA Hockey.
 
He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also completed a Paralegal Studies certification in 2021.
