Nichols College Athletics

Derek Axon enters his first season on the Nichols College men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2026-27 following a four-year career between the posts for the Bison.

In his four seasons in goal for Nichols, Axon appeared in 41 games, anchoring the Bison defense with 10 career clean sheets and a .791 save percentage while competing in the Conference of New England. Now on the sideline, he works primarily with the team's goalkeepers and defensive unit, focusing on shot-stopping mechanics, tactical organization, and player development.

Axon graduated from Nichols College in 2026 with a degree in General Business.
