David Tuttle enters his third year as the Director of Athletic Communications at Nichols College in 2025-26.

In his role with the Bison, Tuttle oversees and directs the communications, public relations and broadcasting efforts for the department, and works closely with all 24 varsity programs on The Hill.

Prior to joining Nichols, Tuttle spent two years at Division II Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, where he first served as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications before being promoted to Interim Director in his final year. While at Pierce, he managed all communications and media relations for institution's 22 varsity programs, including their 2022 NCAA Division II National Champion men's soccer team (winning 25 games with one tie) and their NCAA Division I women's ice hockey team. Along the way, Tuttle went along for five Northeast-10 Conference Championship appearances, one Northeast-10 Championship title, seven NCAA DII Tournament runs, and helped coordinate the men's soccer program's NCAA DII East Regional hosting duties in 2022.

Before Franklin Pierce, Tuttle also worked as a Media Assistant for the Maine Mariners (ECHL) professional hockey team out of Portland, Maine, where he assisted in a number of game day roles including managing the team's digital and social media platforms, content creation and pre-game/post-game setup and breakdown. He also holds experience in broadcasting, having spent several years as a play-by-play announcer for the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), and their former Seacoast Spartans program in Exeter, New Hampshire.

As a graduate from Saint Joseph's College of Maine '21 with a B.S. in Sport Communications, Tuttle developed his background in intercollegiate athletics as an intern within the Saint Joseph's College Sports Information office, assisting the department with all aspects of their day-to-day operations. Tuttle was also named the recipient of the communication department's 2021 Jennifer Jimenez Award for future promise in communications, and was also a four-year member of the Track & Field program.

A native of Freeport, Maine, David currently resides in Southbridge, Massachusetts.
