Bridget McGann joined the Nichols College field hockey program as a graduate assistant coach in 2026 after completing an accomplished dual-sport career at Connecticut College.
A four-year standout for the Camel field hockey program, McGann established herself as one of the top players in the highly competitive NESCAC. She earned All-NESCAC honors in each of her four seasons, including First Team recognition as a junior and senior after receiving Second Team accolades during her first two campaigns. McGann was also a four-time NFHCA All-Region selection and concluded her collegiate career as an NFHCA Third Team All-American, becoming the program's first All-American since 2010.
McGann finished her career with 37 goals and eight assists for 82 points in 58 games, ranking fourth in Connecticut College history in both goals and points. She led the Camels in scoring during each of her four seasons while serving as a team captain and earned multiple game-winning goals throughout her career.
In addition to her success on the field hockey pitch, the West Hartford, Connecticut native also competed for four seasons with the Connecticut College women's ice hockey program, appearing in over 90 career games for the Camels.
McGann also excelled in the classroom, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors twice, NESCAC All-Academic recognition, and multiple NFHCA Scholar of Distinction and National Academic Squad selections. She graduated from Connecticut College with a bachelor's degree in Economics and a minor in Finance.
