Brendin Marks

Brendin Marks joined the Nichols College cross country and track & field coaching staff as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2026-27 academic year.

Marks arrives on The Hill after competing at the University of Mount Olive, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management while establishing himself as one of the top horizontal jumpers in Conference Carolinas. He collected Conference Carolinas Outdoor Triple Jump Runner-Up (Second Team All-Conference) honors and captured the long jump title at the 2025 UNCW Invitational. Throughout his collegiate career, Marks posted personal bests of 7.16 meters in the long jump and 14.59 meters in the triple jump.

Prior to Mount Olive, Marks began his collegiate career at California (Pa.), where he made an immediate impact by setting the program's indoor long jump record with a leap of 7.16 meters. The performance earned him NCAA qualifying marks and California (Pa.) Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week recognition following his record-breaking performance.

In addition to his competitive experience, Marks brings one year of coaching experience working primarily with long jump and triple jump athletes. His responsibilities included assisting with athlete development, strength and conditioning, and meet operations while helping student-athletes maximize their performance both in training and competition.

A native of Chantilly, Virginia, Marks aspires to build a career in collegiate track & field coaching while helping student-athletes reach their full potential on and off the track.
