Austin Paul ‘23 MBA ‘24 has been elevated to an Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment Operations for the 2025-26 athletic season.
Paul wrapped up his second year on the Nichols Athletics Staff as the Game Operations Assistant and Assistant to the Equipment Room for Nichols College in 2024-25.
He serves as the second point of contact on game days to all home contests. Working primarily with Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Volleyball, and Men’s Lacrosse.
Paul joins the Nichols athletics staff after four years competing for the Bison as a Varsity Athlete for Track and Field and Club Athlete for the Rugby team. As a member of the Men’s Track and Field program Paul participated in 17 meets over his 4 years at Nichols, setting a Personal Best of (11.53 m) in Shot Put, (32.49 m) in Discus, and (23.39 m) in Hammer. As well as being a 3-time All-Conference Academic recipient. Paul was a five-year member of the Nichols Rugby program while serving 3 years as a Captain of the squad. Compiling a record of 28-8, going to the playoffs 4 times. Paul was a part of 2 undefeated seasons in 2023-2024 going a combined 18-0. Winning a NERFU Challenge Cup Championship and a National Colligate Rugby Northeast Championship. As well as a 3 time Scholastic All-American.
Paul also served as a member of the Nichols Senior Advisory Council, Sports Management Club, and a Teaching Assistant in the Nichols Sports TV program. Paul joins the athletics staff after being a two-year work-study student with the department. He served as one of the primary stat callers for Nichols football and a ball boy for field hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse. Paul earned his BSBA with a concentration in Sport Management in May 2023 and earned his MBA in May 2024 at Nichols.
A native of Middleton, Massachusetts, Austin currently resides in Dudley, Massachusetts.
