Nichols College Athletics

Eduardo Irizarry begins his third season with the men’s and women’s tennis programs in 2018-19.

Irizarry returned to Nichols in 2016 and has helped both programs capture the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2017 & 2018.

Irizarry was a member of the men’s tennis program at Nichols in 2012-13. He helped the Bison to their second of seven-straight conference crowns and finished the year as the eighth-ranked doubles team with Brandon Roode in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regional rankings.

Following his freshman season, Irizarry transferred to Division I St. Bonaventure, where he finished his playing career. The highlight of his playing career came as a senior, he and his doubles partner knocked off the doubles pair from No. 27 Mary of Washington.

Irizarry is a native of Puerto Rico.
