Blake Norton begins his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the women's and men's tennis programs at Nichols College n 2019-20.
Norton guided the Bison to four-straight Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships (2016-19). He graduated this past May with a degree in human resources. He stands No. 5 in singles wins (62), No. 8 in doubles wins (58), and No. 9 in singles winning pct. (.738) in program history.
“We are all excited to welcome Blake back to the hill in his new role,” said Brower. “His resume speaks for itself as he was a key component in four-consecutive conference championships. In addition to his on the court efforts, his leadership and dedication to the program was second-to-none.”
The 2019 CCC Player of the Year, Norton was a four-time CCC First Team – Singles pick, a three-time CCC Second Team – Doubles selection
(2016; 2018-2019), and the 2016 CCC Rookie of the Year. Norton captured eight CCC Player of the Week honors during his career and was a two-time CCC Academic All-Conference pick (2017, 2019).
