Morgan Gidley ’17 begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Nichols College women’s soccer program in 2018.
In her first season coaching at her alma mater in 2017, the Bison improved on their win total from a year ago and saw nine student-athletes named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference Team. The team more than doubled its offensive output under Gurnon and increased its conference winning percentage by nearly a full point.
A four-year member of the Bison women’s soccer program (2013-16), Gidley was a three-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference selection who appeared in 72 games during her career. Gidley was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at NC as well as Chi Alpha Sigma and Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society. Following her senior season, she received the Dan Cardin Memorial Award for Integrity and Leadership from Nichols College.
