Brooke Marion ’17 begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Nichols College women’s lacrosse program in 2019.
The Bison has six student-athletes named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference Team in 2018. Junior Mellissa LaFleur was named to the CCC Third Team following the season after establishing a single-season record for draw controls (93).
Marion graduated Nichols as one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history, finishing No. 1 in games played (63), No. 2 in assists (34), No. 4 in points (154), No. 5 in goals (120) & free position goals (19), and No. 9 in draw controls (71).
Marion was a three-time CCC Academic All-Conference pick and, as a senior, she was both a CCC Second Team selection and the recipient of the college’s Outstanding Female Senior Award.
