Taylor Commesso '21 begins her first season as an assistant softball coach at Nichols College in 2022.
A four-year starter at the hot corner for the Bison (2018-21), Commesso was a three-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference pick who started 107 games at NC. The Hingham, Mass. native finished her career fourth in home runs (11), sixth in slugging pct. (.503), and 10th in assists (182) in program history.
In her final season in Dudley in 2021, Commesso led the Bison in average (.413), slugging pct. (.738), on-base pct. (.520), home runs (four), and RBI (25). She registered eight multi-hit games and also ripped off a 12-game hitting streak to help Nichols qualify for the conference playoffs for the fourth-consecutive season.
